Full Class for the Fast Learners (FL) and Special Science Elementary School (SSES)
​
The BC SPED Center has first opened its doors not only to children with disabilities but also to children who are gifted and talented. It is really evident that this program has been successfully implemented because of the full class from Grades 1- 6 for the Fast Learners and SSES. The teachers who are handling this class are trained to cater complex lessons and provide opportunities to engage their students in interactive learning. Students who belong to these classes are also screened through series of tests for them to qualify in the program. We are also proud that the pupils have won series of contests not only nationwide but also internationally. The pupils of BC SPED Center are not behind in contests and they also belong to the top ranks.
The Kindergarten Classes including Headstart Program

The school has eight sections provided for the Kindergarten Classes. Four classes for the Morning Session and four classes for the Afternoon Session. The medium of instruction for Kindergarten Classes in Mother Tongue- Bisaya. One of the programs of the Kindergarten Classes is the Headstart. The Differently- Abled Classes

As for the record, the BC SPED Center has offered classes for the different common disabilities in Butuan City. It has classes for children with Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, Hearing Impairment, and Visual Impairment. These five classes are programmed properly so that they can offer a wide- range of opportunities for children with disabilities to learn. Aside from that, teachers who handle the various classes are trained so that they can properly educate the child and cater to the child’s different needs.
